Dolphin International Refrigeration & Kitchen Equipment Warranty Policy

Dolphin International Refrigeration & Kitchen Equipment ("Dolphin International") is committed to providing high-quality products and stands behind the craftsmanship and reliability of its equipment. This warranty policy outlines the terms and conditions for warranty coverage on eligible products.

1. Warranty Period

All new hot and cold kitchen equipment, as well as walk-in refrigeration systems purchased from Dolphin International, are covered by a one (1) year warranty from the original date of purchase.

2. Warranty Commencement

The warranty period officially commences after a successful inspection by Dolphin International's technical team at the installation site. This inspection confirms proper installation and initial functionality of the equipment.

3. Covered Equipment

This warranty policy applies to the following equipment types:

  • Hot Kitchen Equipment:     (e.g., ovens, ranges, fryers, griddles, steam tables, warming cabinets)
  • Cold Kitchen Equipment:     (e.g., reach-in refrigerators, freezers, display chillers, prep tables)
  • Walk-in Refrigeration Systems:     (e.g., walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, and their associated components      like refrigeration units, panels, doors).

4. Warranty Coverage

During the warranty period, Dolphin International warrants that the covered equipment will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service.

If a defect arises and a valid claim is received within the warranty period, Dolphin International will, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair     the defective equipment using new or refurbished parts.
  • Replace     the defective equipment with new or refurbished equipment of equivalent      function.

All repair and replacement services under this warranty will be performed by Dolphin International's authorized technical personnel.

5. Exclusions from Warranty (Terms & Conditions Apply)

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear:     Including but not limited to cosmetic damage, scratches, dents, or discoloration that does not affect the equipment's functionality.
  • Damage caused by improper installation: If the equipment was not installed by Dolphin International's authorized technicians or according to the provided installation guidelines.
  • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, or accident: This includes, but is not limited to, operating the equipment outside its specified parameters, lack of proper cleaning, or accidental damage.
  • Damage caused by power fluctuations, surges, or incorrect voltage.
  • Damage caused by unauthorized repairs or modifications: Any repairs or alterations performed by personnel not authorized by Dolphin International will void this warranty.
  • Damage caused by acts of nature:     (e.g., floods, fires, earthquakes, lightning).
  • Consumable parts:     (e.g., light bulbs, gaskets, filters, fuses) that are designed to be replaced periodically during the normal life of the product.
  • Lack of proper maintenance:     Failure to perform routine maintenance as recommended in the equipment's user manual.
  • Transportation costs: Costs associated with transporting the equipment to and from Dolphin      International's service center, unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • Loss of food or other products:     Due to equipment malfunction.
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

  • Your name and contact information.
  • The original date of purchase.
  • The model and serial number of the equipment.
  • A detailed description of the issue.
  • Clear photo/video of the item

Our technical team will schedule an inspection to assess the claim.

7. Limitation of Liability

Dolphin International's liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective equipment as specified herein. Dolphin International shall not be liable for any other damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, or any other special, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Governing Law

This warranty policy shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

9. General Provisions

  • This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
  • Dolphin International reserves the right to make changes to this warranty policy at any time without prior notice.
  • This warranty constitutes the entire agreement between Dolphin International and the purchaser regarding warranty service and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
